Involvement with the New Orleans Disc Association
The mission of the New Orleans Disc Association is to foster the sport of ultimate by providing opportunities to learn, play, and teach spirited Ultimate in the greater New Orleans area.
I have ~14 years of ultimate frisbee experience, most of which I have accrued here in New Orleans. I started playing ultimate my freshman year at Tulane University, then joined several local club teams, both mixed and women-matching, and have played in too many NODA summer / spring / winter / goaltimate leagues to count. I have captained numerous league teams and coached in the first NODA beginner’s league. I served on the NODA board from 2019 until January 2022.

I have created many designs for NODA over the years, including league jerseys, discs, and social media and marketing collateral.
I designed these discs for NODA-YO (New Orleans Disc Association Youth Outreach). The disc features the basic gameplay of ultimate frisbee broken down into 10 simple and memorable rules. The thinking here was to leave the discs with kids in the community so that they can learn to play and teach their friends!
